Feed, Reels and Stories, out of one story
The same piece of writing becomes a 4:5 feed post, a 9:16 reel and a 9:16 story, each rendered from your template at the shape Instagram actually wants. Alt text and the first comment go with it.

What you can post to Instagram
The post types we support, at the shapes Instagram wants them. Every limit below is the one the editor enforces while you write.
Feed post
- Shape
- 4:5
- Takes
- Image, up to 10 in a carousel
- Text limit
- 2,200 characters
4:5 is what we render. Instagram also accepts 1:1 through 1.91:1.
Reel
- Shape
- 9:16
- Takes
- Video
- Text limit
- 2,200 characters
Rendered as video from the same template, then published through Instagram's reel flow.
Story
- Shape
- 9:16
- Takes
- Image
- Text limit
- None
A story carries no caption. Instagram's API takes none, so we don't offer a field that would be silently dropped.

What you get out of it
- One template covers all three shapes. The layout rearranges itself for each rather than cropping a square down to a story.
- Alt text is a real field, and on a carousel it is set per image rather than once for the lot.
- The first comment is scheduled with the post, so the hashtags don't have to live in the caption.
- Comments come back into the workspace. You can reply to them and delete them from here.
- Stories disappear after 24 hours, and the workspace knows that. One that's gone reads as expired rather than as a post that failed.
Connect an Instagram professional account through Instagram's own login. HyperContent never sees your password, and the token it does hold is stored encrypted.
Everywhere else, from the same story
A post doesn't go to one place. Pick a destination and the same piece of writing is rendered and sent to it alongside the rest.
You’re handing over the keys
Every account you publish from, in one tool. Here’s what protects them. the full detail is on the security page.
- Hosting
- The app, the background jobs and the database all run in the EU. Your content stays there in normal operation.
- Account keys
- The keys to your connected accounts are stored encrypted and only unlocked at the moment a post goes out or a connection is renewed.
- Signing in
- Signing in from a device we don't recognise needs a code from your email. Authenticator apps are supported as a stronger second step.
- Records
- Who did what in the workspace, and every sign-in and security change, are kept as two separate records. IP addresses are stored scrambled, never in the clear.
- Permissions
- Admin, designer and editor come as standard, and you can build your own. Someone with no role assigned sees nothing at all.
- Compliance
- GDPR, Standard Contractual Clauses, a named list of everyone we pass data to, and a DPA we'll sign within two working days of you asking.
