What you get out of it
- Reply chain or carousel is a setting, not a rebuild. The same ten pages go out either way.
- 500 characters, counted while you write rather than discovered at publish time.
- Alt text is set per image across the whole chain.
- Replies come back into the workspace. You can reply and you can hide, but you can't delete: Threads' API has no delete, and we'd rather say that than offer a button that quietly does nothing.
Connect a Threads account through Meta's login. The token is stored encrypted and refreshed before it lapses.

A post doesn't go to one place. Pick a destination and the same piece of writing is rendered and sent to it alongside the rest.
You’re handing over the keys
Every account you publish from, in one tool. Here’s what protects them. the full detail is on the security page.
- Hosting
- The app, the background jobs and the database all run in the EU. Your content stays there in normal operation.
- Account keys
- The keys to your connected accounts are stored encrypted and only unlocked at the moment a post goes out or a connection is renewed.
- Signing in
- Signing in from a device we don't recognise needs a code from your email. Authenticator apps are supported as a stronger second step.
- Records
- Who did what in the workspace, and every sign-in and security change, are kept as two separate records. IP addresses are stored scrambled, never in the clear.
- Permissions
- Admin, designer and editor come as standard, and you can build your own. Someone with no role assigned sees nothing at all.
- Compliance
- GDPR, Standard Contractual Clauses, a named list of everyone we pass data to, and a DPA we'll sign within two working days of you asking.
